About & methodology
PawPassage turns scattered government pet-travel guidance into one page per route (origin → destination, dog or cat).
Sources
Every requirement comes from an official agency page — for example GOV.UK/APHA (Great Britain), CFIA and CBSA (Canada), CDC and USDA APHIS (United States) and the Bureau of Animal Industry (Philippines) — and is linked inline. We don't use forums, agents' blogs or AI summaries as sources. If we can't verify a fact on an official page, we leave it out or mark it ⚠ Not fully verified.
'Last checked' policy
- Every route page shows a Last checked month: the month we last re-read every linked official source.
- Each route is re-checked at least every 6 months, and straight away when an agency announces a change.
- Costs are only shown when an official source states them.

Affiliate disclosure
Some pages have spaces for pet-relocation partners. They're marked clearly and never change what the rules say.
